ATTENTION: IN MEMORY OF: ANOTHER GOOD FRIEND HAS PASSED AWAY. RON BANAS, AT THE AGE OF 67, PASSED AWAY TUESDAY, JUNE 29TH. RON ALWAYS HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR, LOVED TO GO FISHING AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT A FROWN ON YOUR FACE EVEN WAS. I/WE WILL MISS HIM SORELY. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
The Deep Sea Fishing Club (The Club) was established in December 1995. Currently there are over 430 members. The purpose of The Club is to provide its members with the opportunity to participate in the many, varied activities of saltwater fishing available to us in a safe, legal, and skilled manner at a reasonable cost; to encourage sociability while enhancing camaraderie of those interested in fishing; and to share skills, talents, and knowledge of fishing in promoting good sportsmanship while protecting the environment. Membership is restricted to Villages residents only. Dues are $5.00 per year. The Club is very active in all kinds of saltwater fishing including Atlantic Ocean charter trips, “flats” fishing in the Gulf, deep sea fishing in the Atlantic Ocean and in the Gulf, pier fishing, and anything else our members may come up with. |
